Here are a few free downloads of essays in Word format, unfortunately so far all in Norwegian.
One is a short raptus about a passionate encounter with the Argentinean bandoneonist Nestor Marconi. Another is a biographical outline of my friend and senior mentor on guitar, Robert Normann (1916-1998) - he was incredible! The next are biographical notes on my time together with my dear friend and informal teacher in the exquisite art of drawing - the bohemian maestro Ryzard Warsinski. And one is an essay about the gypsy jazz in general.
Inbetween the rest I have several stories going on in various drawers - hopefully to be published here one day. One is a full biography on Jimmy Rosenberg, another is the story about Hot Club de Norvège. Also I have actually written a lot of short stories, or adventures, for children - a natural consequence of having been so lucky to have been surrounded by these short creatures all my life. However, so far I have not had the nerve to publish any of them. Perhaps one day - together with music? And naturally: there is an autobiography, I prefer my own lies about me. |
