This is the official homepage of Hot Club Records, including the original Vintage Guitars Series. Hot Club Records was established in 1982 by guitarist Jon Larsen. So far we have released more than 200 projects, mainly jazz CDs, including recordings with Chet Baker, Warne Marsh, Stéphane Grappelli, Doug Raney, Philip Catherine, Benny Waters, and the Norwegian jazz poet Jan Erik Vold.

In 1989 we established The Vintage Guitars Series™, exclusively dedicated to contemporary gypsy jazz. The series became an unexpected and instant success, and is now the label for this music. Our goal is to present the crême-de-la-crême in this field; the best musicians of today, and some of the old masters. All products are of optimal quality, and we use only the best recording studios around.

In addition to this, we are now constructing a virtual gypsy jazz archive, including a huge photo gallery on this website.
